Our client is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer who is passionate about precision, service, and smart print finishing technology. We’re growing—and we’re looking for a Field Service Engineer based in or around Oxford and Warwickshire to join our expert service team.

You’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers running smoothly, delivering hands-on support and technical expertise with a level of care that sets them apart. Whether it’s maintaining top-tier print finishing equipment or supporting new installs, you’ll be at the heart of a business that values innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Experience in the print or finishing industry would be a strong advantage—you’ll understand the machinery, the environment, and the importance of uptime to our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites, delivering on SLAs and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Own your customer communications - confirm visits ahead of time, provide updates, and make sure issues are followed through to resolution.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software like Tesseract, Microsoft Office, and more to record, report, and manage your workload.
  • Attend regular training courses and service meetings to stay sharp and up-to-date with our latest innovations.
  • Provide remote technical support when needed—your advice could make the difference in minutes.
  • Maintain your vehicle’s parts stock and manage warranty claims efficiently.
  • Be the go-to technical expert—occasionally demonstrating equipment to clients and supporting industry events across the UK and abroad.

What We’re Looking For

  • A background in electrical and mechanical engineering—you’re confident taking machines apart and putting them back better.
  • A true problem-solver with solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competence with Windows OS, driver/software installation, and general IT.
  • A proven ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team.
  • Located ideally in Oxford or Warwickshire for regional coverage, with flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Previous experience in the print or print finishing industry is highly desirable.
