Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities:
  • Carry out precision inspections on mechanical and safety-critical aerospace components
  • Use handheld tools such as verniers, callipers, and micrometers to check dimensions
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to assess component compliance
  • Collaborate with other inspectors and the QA team to uphold product standards
  • Accurately document inspection results and report non-conformances where required
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in mechanical inspection within manufacturing
  • Confident using manual inspection tools (verniers, micrometres, callipers)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T desirable)
  • Background in aerospace, defence, automotive or similarly regulated industry
