- Carry out precision inspections on mechanical and safety-critical aerospace components
- Use handheld tools such as verniers, callipers, and micrometers to check dimensions
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to assess component compliance
- Collaborate with other inspectors and the QA team to uphold product standards
- Accurately document inspection results and report non-conformances where required
- Previous experience in mechanical inspection within manufacturing
- Confident using manual inspection tools (verniers, micrometres, callipers)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T desirable)
- Background in aerospace, defence, automotive or similarly regulated industry
