Wizard Staff Solutions are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner (level 2 or above) to join our exceptional client to help play a key role in every unique child’s learning and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Development and a genuine passion for working with children ages birth to 5 years. In the Early Years Sector, you will gain more knowledge, passion, understanding and build relationships with each unique child.

£24,500 - £32,500 per annum (based on experience and qualifications).

Duties:

  • Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children.
  • Provide high-quality childcare by planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
  • Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through positive reinforcement and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur during nursery hours.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on the well-being of the children.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programmes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Promoting relationships with both parents/carers and children of all ages.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education.
  • Ability to drive initiatives that foster an enriching learning environment for children.
  • Must be able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and creativity when interacting with young children.
