Project Manager – Leading Life Sciences Project
Location: Oxford
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

Flagship Consulting is proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading construction consultancies to recruit a Project Manager for a prestigious and technically complex life sciences project based in Oxford.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of the UK’s most significant developments in the science, research and innovation sector. The project is part of a major investment programme aimed at boosting world-class research and development in the region.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of cutting-edge laboratory, research, and science facilities, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

You will work closely with both public and private sector clients, supporting the full lifecycle of the project — from early-stage design and procurement through to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project delivery from inception through to completion

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure seamless collaboration across design, engineering, and construction

  • Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact

  • Lead programme, risk, and change management processes

  • Oversee quality, budget, and contractual compliance

Requirements:
  • Proven experience delivering construction projects within a consultancy environment

  • Experience in science, healthcare, higher education, or complex technical buildings is highly desirable

  • Excellent understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Chartered or working towards chartership (MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB)
