  • A great opportunity has become available for a mental health youth support assistant, supporting SEN children in a school in Oxford.
  • This is an excellent position to gain some hands on experience working directly with vulnerable students in the classroom.
  • These young students struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD and various other developmental disorders.
  • As a learning support assistant you will directly be involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health whilst also being involved in their learning and development.
  • Your role will involve engaging with them and ensuring that they are receiving a good blend of their education and interventions.
  • The role as Learning Support Assistant would suit someone who is resilient and confident in supporting young people with challenging mental health needs.
