About the Role

Our client is expanding their Life Science & Research Cost Management team and seeking an experienced Senior Cost Consultant to help deliver world-class research, technology, and life science facilities for leading national and global clients.

As part of a dynamic Cost Management team, you'll play a key role in shaping projects from concept to completion - ensuring they're delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in cost planning, procurement, estimating, and budget management will support smarter, more sustainable delivery across a range of landmark projects.

What You'll Do

Provide Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services for science and research projects across the UK & Europe

Manage projects from feasibility to completion, including cost estimates, benchmarking, procurement, and contract management

Build strong client relationships and manage key stakeholders effectively

Support and mentor junior colleagues within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Contribute to the delivery of smart, safe, and sustainable environments where people live, learn, and thrive

What We're Looking For

MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor (or equivalent experience)

Proven track record delivering large, complex construction projects - ideally within Life Sciences, Research, Technology, or heavy MEP sectors

Strong understanding of cost and value drivers

Passion for innovation, collaboration, and quality outcomes

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience using Digital Cost Management tools (e.g. CostX, 5D BIM, Benchmarking software)

Leadership qualities with experience mentoring junior team members
