Fantastic opportunity for experienced and motivated skilled Assistant Manager

All positions are live-out and staff must have their own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in the daily operations of the pub.
  • Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient bar and floor service, especially during peak hours.
  • Assist with staff training, rota planning, and shift management.
  • Maintain the traditional British pub atmosphere and uphold cultural authenticity.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance, hygiene standards, and licensing regulations.
  • Act as a key holder and take charge of opening/closing duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality.
  • Strong understanding and respect for British pub traditions and clientele expectations.
  • Confident in leading a team and making decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Personal Licence (preferred or willingness to obtain).
