The purpose of the new role will be to increase sales in line with a business plan through the sale of internal and supply chain partner waste services. You will be responsible for leading the development of all non-brokered commercial waste customers. Working closely with the commercial waste operational team, you will generate new client relationships, develop a new business pipeline and oversea the bid submission for strategic customers.
Resposabilities:
- Maintaining and growing a sales pipeline that delivers the required business growth.
- Building relationships with larger organisations, to build an understanding of the businessprior to bid release.
- Selling waste services into SMEs via multiple routes
- Work with the companiessenior management to develop our product offering.
- Work with operational and account management teams to generate innovation projects and case studies.
- Generate new leads through industry networking, conferences, expositions, LinkedIn, and other media. Ensuring all leads are regularly followed up and activities recorded in CRM.
- Take responsibility for collaborating with potential clients to develop opportunities through to bid submission working alongside theBid team.
- Plan, prepare and deliver presentations at industry events and conferences to promote the value of doing business with the company..
- Work with directors and finance staff to forecast sales targets and ensure these can be met.
- Actively promote the businessas a respected and experienced waste industry professional
