Make a difference in communities where your leadership really counts. We are working with an exceptional Housing Association who are looking for a passionate and experienced Area Housing Manager to lead a dedicated team and deliver exceptional housing services across Oxfordshire.

This role is about more than managing properties — it’s about shaping lives. You’ll oversee Housing Officers, Outreach Workers and Assistants, ensuring tenancy lifecycles are managed with care, efficiency and fairness. From tackling anti-social behaviour to improving tenancy sustainment, your leadership will directly impact residents’ quality of life.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and developing a team delivering tenancy management, rent arrears, lettings, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Managing complex housing cases including anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, and tenancy breaches.
  • Driving service improvement projects and embedding best practice.
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing performance targets, case management standards, and compliance with housing law.
  • Managing budgets, resource allocation, and delivering value-for-money services.
  • Representing the organisation in court and at multi-agency meetings.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in social housing or tenancy management.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law, and anti-social behaviour processes.
  • Experience managing teams and delivering performance in a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Confidence in case management, court advocacy, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
