As a Technical Sales Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the sales process — from qualifying leads to closing deals. You'll collaborate with both the engineering and marketing teams to deliver intelligent solutions for a global client base.

 

Technical Sales Engineer  - The Role:

  • Respond to inbound and marketing-generated leads
  • Proactively identify and approach new business opportunities
  • Support technical proposal development and deliver tailored demos
  • Build lasting relationships with customers across diverse industries
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure solutions meet customer needs
  • Contribute to sales strategies, outreach campaigns, and collateral development
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to build the sales pipeline
  • Help hit quarterly and annual sales targets

 

Technical Sales Engineer  - The Person:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, lead generation or customer service in a high-tech environment
  • Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Strong relationship builder with a natural commercial instinct
  • Familiar with CRM platforms and sales outreach tools
  • Driven, detail-oriented and goal-focused — with a logical, consultative approach
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial automation, or machine vision
