Client Details
You'll be joining a family owned business with a global presence at their UK HQ in central Oxford (on a hybrid basis, of course!), This role works alongside another HR Business Partner and will be supported by a team of HR Advisors and Administrators, all reporting into the Lead Business Partner for the UK. You'll work alongside centres of excellence to provide generalist support to several different business units.
Because of the client group you will be supporting, this role requires travel up North on a monthly basis, with overnight stays included.
Description
What will the HR Business Partner do?
- You will take the time to understand business needs and strategy whilst being able to communicate and deliver HR policies, processes and initiatives, working in collaboration with the two centres of excellence (Leadership, Coaching & Development, and HR Services & Rewards).
- You will deliver well defined job roles and organisational structures to managers to help them build strong performing teams with the skills needed to drive the businesses forward
- You will be proactive, building mutually respectful relationships with stakeholders, whilst demonstrating excellent influencing skills.
- As a result of your deep experience and knowledge, you will be the trusted people expert in management team meetings, offering appropriate challenge whilst building consensus.
Profile
A successful HR Business Partner will have:
- Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner, within a blue collar environment
- CIPD Level 5 as a minimum
- Excellent understanding of UK employment law
- A pro-active nature and a desire to have a lasting impact on a business
