MIG Welder Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out MIG welding to a coded standard (training and certification provided)
  • Fabricating, tacking, and plasma cutting various metal components
  • Manufacturing specialist tooling when required
  • Maintaining a zero-defect approach to welding quality
  • Performing daily maintenance and keeping the welding area organised
  • Identifying equipment issues and suggesting process improvements
  • Supporting other departments with fabrication tasks when necessary
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in MIG welding in a manufacturing, structural or fabrication setting
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Physically capable of lifting loads up to 20kg as part of daily duties
  • TIG welding experience would be an advantage but not essential
