As a Residential Property Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our conveyancing team. You will assist with all aspects of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient process for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting fee earners with managing residential property files from inception to completion

  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties

  • Conducting property searches and reviewing results

  • Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records

  • Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a residential conveyancing or legal assistant role

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

  • Good communication and client care skills

  • Competency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office

  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
