Job Description:

FMCG/ Catering company - a dynamic and fast-growing company based in Surrey, with a wide reach across London and the surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web design and food bringing an understanding of how to tailor messaging to each audience, while also bringing fresh ideas to engage new users and stay ahead of evolving food trends.

We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Officer with a creative edge, excellent communication abilities, and strong writing skills.

This is a versatile role where no two days will be the same.

Job Spec:

  •  Develop customer awareness and drive sales
  •  Support delivering on overall marketing plan and goals – implementing advertising campaigns and activities
  •  Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  •  Conduct regular market research, for example organising surveys/ questionnaires and focus groups
  •  Organise, market and execute marketing events – assistance with focus groups; taster sessions; assemblies;  hospitality events; and cookery classes
  •  Involvement and input for social media
  •  Monitor and report on competitor and industry activity
  • Continuous development to the website
  • Internal communication
  • Innovative design creations with clear messages for business tenders, marketing, advertising and communication materials.

Required Skills:

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Proven creativity and innovation, with experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
  •  Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign and PowerPoint
  •  Strong attention to detail
  •  Experience in event planning and co-ordination (preferred but not essential)
  •  Collaborative team player, with a proactive, hand-on attitude
  •  Genuine interest in food and awareness of current food trends
  •  Driving license preferred (as sometimes will be required on site)
