We are seeking an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a dynamic educational institution in Redhill. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality religious education and fostering a deeper understanding among students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Religious Education to students across various key stages.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement with the subject matter.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate cross-curricular themes and to enhance the educational experience for students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school training events, and other professional development activities.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and school-wide religious events.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
- Experience teaching RE in a secondary school environment.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and pedagogical strategies in Religious Education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
