Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Crane Engineer to join our team based in MK18. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, repair, inspection, and testing of a wide range of workshop and overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on various crane systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).

  • Carry out routine maintenance and LOLER inspections.

  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately.

  • Support the workshop team with crane builds, refurbishments, and modifications.

  • Maintain health and safety compliance at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

  • LOLER and PUWER knowledge essential.

  • Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Full UK driving licence (preferred for future site visits).
