Remuneration: Up to 19ph depending on experience
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time (2 positions available)
Hours: 35 hours per week, suggested 7.30am-4.30pm but can be flex

Responsibilities:
Join our client's dynamic Purchasing Department as a Buyer, where your skills will shine in a fast-paced manufacturing environment! Your main tasks will include:
- Analyse buying trends, manage stock, and adapt to demand changes
- Maintain accurate electronic and manual records
- Interpret requirement plans and adjust order cover as needed
- Drive purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Track and report supplier performance
- Collaborate with accounts on budgets, forecasts, and financial data
- Act as SAP Super User for Purchasing
- Process Engineering Change Notes (ECNs)
- Assess and negotiate with suppliers; conduct site visits and audits
- Build strong supplier relationships and resolve quality issues
- Secure cost agreements and source new opportunities
- Review agreements for cost, efficiency, and quality
- Support cost-reduction initiatives with Supply Chain management
- Manage contractor fitments to meet production and customer needs
The successful candidates will be highly organised, accurate and have excellent negotiation skills in order to gain the right price on every purchase. SAP experience is a must for this.
