Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a key project in Padstow, Cornwall, on behalf of a leading engineering and maintenance provider. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of a site-based project, overseeing subcontractors, materials, health & safety, and client liaison on a high-profile scheme.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of M&E works, with full responsibility for site coordination, commercial awareness, and safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring works progress in line with programme milestones.
- Oversee and coordinate M&E works ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Take a proactive approach to health & safety, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company procedures.
- Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong working relationships and clear communication.
- Manage labour resources and coordinate material packages, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost control.
- Oversee the ordering of materials, managing delivery schedules and site logistics to support workflow.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role, preferably within the building services or M&E environment.
- ECS/JIB or Management CSCS card holder.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- First Aid at work qualification is highly desirable.
- Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance is essential due to the nature of the site.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and client-facing skills are a must.
