gap personnel Exeter are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Paignton.
As a machine operator you will take full responsibility for the departments operating of its machinery correctly.
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Loading materials into a pre-programmed machine
- Unloading finished materials from machines and storing into correct locations
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Working Hours & Pay Rate:
- Monday to Friday, 0730am – 1630pm (early finish on a Friday)
- Overtime paid after 38.5hrs
- £12.21ph
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business.
