The Role

As a Class 2 driver, you are the face of the business, interacting with customers daily and providing exceptional service. You will build strong relationships with customers, ensuring their deliveries arrive on time and in perfect condition. No two days are the same one day, you could be delivering to a small shop in the countryside, and the next, navigating city streets to reach a restaurant. This role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to different delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive safely and responsibly, following driving regulations and company policies

Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries

Provide excellent customer service at every delivery

Multi-drop deliveries to various customers with different delivery methods

Handle and deliver frozen and chilled products efficiently

Perform manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading stock

Collect, carry, and count cash in line with internal procedures

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, cash handling, and vehicle checks

What Were Looking For:

A valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record

Valid CPC licence

At least 1 years experience driving a goods vehicle

Experience in multi-drop deliveries is an advantage

Strong awareness of safe driving standards

Confident navigating different routes and areas

Good communication and customer service skills

Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting

Flexibility to work various hours including rostered weekends

A positive can-do attitude and a commitment to getting the job done
