HGV Class 2 Driver, Paisley, £41,254 p/a increasing to £43,110 p/a

As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be tasked with:

  • Delivering frozen, ambient & chilled foods as well as catering supplies to customers including schools, restaurants, care homes and hospitals
  • Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure vehicles maintained at required H&S standards
  • Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Manual handling - handballing goods from vehicle to pallet or cages
  • Picking goods - picking and packing goods on vehicle at customer locations
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Communicating with effectively with customers, team members and depot management
  • Completion of relevant paperwork and documentation

What we're looking for:

  • A solid work history and a can-do enthusiastic approach to work
  • Experience of multi drop delivery for a customer focussed business
  • A minimum of 1-year practical driving experience
  • A full UK driving licence with C entitlement
  • CPC qualification - full and up to date
  • Digital tachograph
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points
  • A degree of physical fitness as manual handling a consistent requirement of the role
