HGV Class 2 Driver, Paisley, £41,254 p/a increasing to £43,110 p/a

As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be tasked with:

Delivering frozen, ambient & chilled foods as well as catering supplies to customers including schools, restaurants, care homes and hospitals
Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure vehicles maintained at required H&S standards
Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
Manual handling - handballing goods from vehicle to pallet or cages
Picking goods - picking and packing goods on vehicle at customer locations
Delivering exceptional customer service
Communicating with effectively with customers, team members and depot management
Completion of relevant paperwork and documentation

What you can expect:

A permanent position with a highly competitive salary of £41,254 increasing to £43,110 by September 2025
Opportunity to work regular overtime at great rates
5 day from 7 shift pattern with most days being worked Monday to Friday
Day shift only - early starts but early finishes too! Start times from 4.30am

What we're looking for:

A solid work history and a can-do enthusiastic approach to work
Experience of multi drop delivery for a customer focussed business
A minimum of 1-year practical driving experience
A full UK driving licence with C entitlement
CPC qualification - full and up to date
Digital tachograph
A maximum of 6 penalty points
A degree of physical fitness as manual handling a consistent requirement of the role
