Project Overview:
We are looking for an experienced3-person drainage gangto join a long-term infrastructure project on alive water treatment sitein Pangbourne. The works form part of a major upgrade involving the installation ofnew sludge tanks, with extensivedrainage, ducting, pipework, concrete slabs, and groundworksrequired.
This role will focus on theinstallation of drainage systems, including deep drainage, manholes, and connections, with flexibility to support other site activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install drainage systems including pipework, manholes, and chambers
- Carry out deep excavation and trenching works
- Ensure correct levels and alignment for drainage runs
- Support general groundworks and concrete slab preparation
- Operate plant and tools safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively within a gang and adapt to changing site priorities
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in drainage installation and groundworks
- ValidCSCS cardsfor all gang members (essential)
- Thames Water Passport(preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working on live utility or water treatment sites (advantageous)
- Ability to work flexibly and follow site instructions
- Own transport to site
