About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Supply Teaching Assistants (TA) to join our team in Eastbourne. As a Supply TA, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs (SEN) across a variety of schools. This role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN and is ideal for someone looking for flexibility in their work.
In this role, you will be supporting children in both classroom settings and during 1:1 or small group sessions, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.

Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Work with students 1:1 or in small groups to provide additional support.

Adapt learning materials to suit individual student needs.

Help manage behavior and encourage positive engagement in learning.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.

Ability to work flexibly across different schools in Eastbourne.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A current DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
