Job Title: Project Planner - National Grid Substation Project

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a major National Grid substation construction project in Wales. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and scheduling of works, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
路Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans using Primavera P6
路Work closely with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to coordinate activities and track progress
路Identify project risks and delays and propose mitigation strategies
路Produce regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders, including National Grid
路Ensure compliance with project timelines, milestones, and reporting requirements
Requirements:
路Proven experience as a Planner on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
路Extensive knowledge of substation construction, ideally to National Grid standards
路Proficient in Primavera P6 (essential)
路Familiarity with NEC contracts is advantageous
路Strong communication and organisational skills
路Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
路Experience with National Grid processes and protocols
