Our client is a fast growth tech company providing IT & Comms technology to small and medium businesses throughout the UK.

They are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic2ndLineVoIPEngineerwith experience in the ICT sector, particularly inVoIP/SIP and IP networks. The successful candidate will handle 2nd-line technical tickets, resolve and triage issues, and, when necessary, escalate them to theengineering team. This role may also involve visiting customer sites for on-site support.

Main duties:

  • Handle 2nd line tickets requiring technical support for VoIP systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP, SIP and networking related issues
  • Investigate and monitor telecoms, WI-FI and networking issues
  • Visit client sites to diagnose and repair VoIP services
  • Deliver first class customer service at all times.

Experience required:

  • Proven knowledge and experience with VoIP technologies, SIP messaging, call flows and packet capture analysis.
  • Strong understanding of IP networks, TCP/IP and troubleshooting network related issues.
  • Familiarity with IP PBX systems and their configuration
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Full driving license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (CompTIA, Network+, CCNA)
  • Experience with specific VoIP platforms (Asterisk, Hosted Cloud Telephony)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software

This is an excellent opportunity to join an extremely fast growth technology company with a nationwide presence. This role is Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and does not offer hybrid or remote working.
