We are currently seeking a Mechanical-biased M&E Site Manager to join our dynamic team, delivering essential infrastructure within the waste and clean water sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical water and wastewater projects, managing on-site M&E installation activities from inception to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee M&E site activities with a strong focus on mechanical installation.

  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure efficient delivery.

  • Ensure works are completed safely, to specification, on time and within budget.

  • Manage on-site health & safety in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.

  • Carry out site inspections and audits, producing progress reports and quality documentation.

  • Work closely with design teams and support commissioning activities.

  • Identify and resolve on-site issues in collaboration with the wider project team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager within the water/wastewater industry (essential).

  • Strong mechanical engineering background, ideally time-served or with HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar.

  • Knowledge of clean water treatment works (WTW) and/or wastewater treatment works (WwTW) processes.

  • Familiarity with AMP frameworks and water utility client standards (e.g., Thames Water, Severn Trent, United Utilities, etc.).

  • Valid CSCS card, SMSTS or SSSTS, and ideally First Aid at Work.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and coordinate multi-disciplinary site teams.
