We have a new opportunity for an EC&I Commissioning Engineer based on the Sellafield Site in Cumbria.
This role has the potential of being a shift role - 4 days on - 4 off x 12 hour rolling shift pattern
Security Clearance is required for this role.
Candidates should be British Citizens and not have worked outside the UK for the past 5 years.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test.
Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources
Initiation and implementation of FOBs
Validation of Working Level Instructions
Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning
Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
Experience in nuclear commissioning
Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
Calculation production using Excel.
IOSH Managing Safely
SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS/ECS supervisory card relevant to trade
Design Tools/Software:
Microsoft suite
