Maintenance Surveyor - CUMBRIAHourly Rate: £35.00 - £45.00 per hour

One of our long-standing clients is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor. This role will initially be interim with the idea to convert to permanent. The role will be to deliver property maintenance and compliance work across a diverse housing portfolio, primarily working on voids and responsive. This role is ideal for a proactive and customer-focused professional with strong surveying experience.

Key responsibilities:* Carry out property condition surveys, diagnosing issues and specifying remedial works* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements* Manage voids and responsive repair works with a focus on quality, timeliness and budget* Undertake audits and post-inspections to ensure work is completed to the expected standards* Collaborate closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery* Maintain accurate records and clear communication throughout all projects* Assist with Section 20 consultation processes for leasehold properties

Client requirements:* Previous experience as a Building or Maintenance Surveyor in housing or a similar sector* Commercial awareness with confidence to challenge costs and quality of works* Excellent communication and record-keeping skills* IT literate - confident with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
