Electrical Engineer
Salary: 50,000 to 60,000 depending on experience, including on-call work
Location: Rural Penrith area

Adecco Workington are delighted to be recruiting for our fantastic client in the rural Penrith area. This is a superb opportunity to join a company with an excellent reputation.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair a wide range of manufacturing production equipment, reacting quickly to breakdowns.
* Diagnose and repair faults on PLC and electronically controlled equipment.
* Carry out installations and ensure equipment meets statutory health and safety requirements.
* Follow safe working practices at all times.
* Support continuous improvement activities.
* Work a two-week rotating early/late shift pattern with emergency on-call cover (no night shifts).

Requirements:
* Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC and electronically controlled equipment.
* Qualification to the latest IEE wiring regulations desirable but not essential.
* Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
* Full UK driving licence.
