We are currently seeking a full time Weighbridge Operative based near Penrith.

Due to the location of the position, all candidates are required to have their own mode of reliable transport.

This is an immediate start position, so we do require candidates to have the ability to start straight away or with a min of 1 week's notice to serve.

Job description

  • Weighing vehicles on entry and exit of the site.
  • Managing records of all vehicles on entry and exist.
  • Handling customer complaints and enquiries.
  • Assisting with general administration duties within the office, filing, answering phones, data entry, liaising with different departments to keep communication open and everyone updated on changes etc.
  • Issuing transfer notes as well as receiving and managing the these records accurately.
  • Organising deliveries and pick ups of various items daily.
  • Dealing with customers face to face.
  • Assisting customers and suppliers with any enquiries, concerns or complaints they may have.

Job specifications

  • Monday to Fri 7:45am - 5:15pm - 1 in 4 weekend working required.
  • Must be able to drive due to location.
  • Must have a clean criminal background.
  • Ability to work weekends is a must.
  • Able to fulfil the full job requirements.
  • Experience working on as a weighbridge Operative is desired but not essential.
  • Good computer skills, ability to use various CRM systems, excel and Microsoft.
  • Can read, write and speak English is a must.
