We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Commissioning Engineer to join a leading engineering company, in a 6-month contract position. Our client offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement, with up to three days a week in their office in Cumbria.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting nuclear projects with a motivating and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead a team of engineers and technicians during testing and commissioning.

-Prepare and oversee test documents and team activities.

-Handle changes (FOBs and TQs) and works with regulators to meet requirements.

-Participate in design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams.

-Schedule and manage work in line with project timelines.

What we are looking for:

-Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical Engineering.

-Must have prior experience working on nuclear projects.

-Proven experience collaborating with contractors.

-Strong understanding of water treatment processes and distribution systems.
