Salary: £50,000 plus Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join a market-leading organisation in Penrith, Cumbria. Working for a company that is constantly investing in people, well known for their manufacturing excellence and strong culture, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career.

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing around 20 members of staff with the ability to motivate and develop to achieve company KPI’s. The Production Manager will be required to work on projects, attend managerial meetings as well as cover for the Operations Manager when they are on annual leave.  

Skills required for an Production Manager:

• The Production Manager will have strong leadership, coaching and managerial skills.
• Working within a Manufacturing environment previously within a Production Management position.
• Able to manage team leaders and operatives of various sizes.
• Ability to develop and motivate team to achieve and improve on KPI’s.
• Worked on projects with other areas of the business and attend managerial meetings.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence.
• Pride themselves on high levels of health & safety, quality and environmental standards.
