What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist, supporting a GP surgery and making a direct impact on patient care and medicines optimisation. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct medication reviews to improve patient treatment outcomes
  • Provide prescribing support and guidance to GPs
  • Manage repeat prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy
  • Oversee medicines reconciliation for new and discharged patients
  • Support long-term condition management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
  • Answer prescription queries and collaborate with healthcare teams
  • Work onsite to deliver high-quality pharmacy support
Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:  

  • Prior GP experience is essential
  • Independent Prescribing qualification (preferable) 
  • Strong expertise in medicines optimisation and patient consultations 
  • Proficiency in GP pharmacy systems (EMIS & SystmOne) 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
