This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm.
The Laboratory Technician Role:
- Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis.
- Performing analysis using XRF / ICP / other techniques as required.
- Recording and reporting test results.
- Maintaining good laboratory practice and the highest standards of housekeeping and safety.
- Performing laboratory admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
- Assisting with bench-scale metallurgical test work as required.
- Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, or relevant discipline.
- Experience of working in a laboratory.
- Experience with using ICP and / or XRF for chemical analysis.
