Architectural Technician, Falmouth, £25k - £35k DOEIf you would like to know more about this role, please contact Sophie Randle at RGB Recruitment ASAP!   Exciting opportunity to join an independent Architectural Design and Building Surveying Practice. With offices across Devon and Cornwall you will join their friendly design team to assist in producing drawing packages and managing the projects on site, assisting and supporting the building surveyors with a contribution of design and concept.  Working across a variety or project sectors from barn conversions, new houses, renovations, and  office building. Offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a competitive package with flexibility around the working day.Responsibilities
  • Carry out AutoCAD based drawing tasks as appropriate, producing drawings from notes and amend incoming drawings as required
  • Following company procedures and those concerning quality assurance
  • Collecting data on site including conducted measured surveys
  • Prioritise work in consultation with the relevant Team Managers/Associates
  • Liaise and communicate with different consultants
  • Ensuring up to date on all UK’s building regulations
  • Carrying out Planning applications
  • Dependent on experience, opportunities may arise for Project Management
Requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
  • Up to date on UK’s Building regulations
  • Experienced in preparing detailed drawings in AutoCAD
  • Passion for traditional/listed buildings, (experience in this field is desirable but not essential)
  • Role would suit someone early on in their career with an ambition to develop their design skills
