My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a Permanent basis.
The main function of the role includes developing cost effective production methods to meet customer requirements whilst complying with relevant standards.
The man responsibilities associated with this role includes
- Working as part of the Quality team to achieve department requirements
- Create the necessary documentation to reflect work structures
- Work closely with Production and Estimating teams
- Provide Technical support to production team
- Manage the transfer of information to production team
- Evaluate Build documents, identifying opportunities for improvements
- Perform regular patrol inspections of manufacturing areas
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Use of CMM/Multi-Axis measuring apparatus, eg. FARO
- Creating FAI documentation
- Experience of using Lean Six Sigma
- Planning experience, NPI and product life cycle
- Working with guidelines, EN(phone number removed), ISO3834, ISO14001, 45001
- experience of Supply Chain Management
- Strong background of document and data control
- Experience of working closely with customers directly
The salary on offer is up to 32,000
