We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Pershore.
Hours of work are: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday/ 7am-12pm Friday
Pay rate: 14 - 15 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Your duties as a Welder/Fabricator will include:
- Manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium fabrications.
- Perform MIG welding on structural and tubular steel assemblies.
- Carry out fitting and assembly work where required
- Work independently from engineering drawings.
- Use workshop equipment such as:
- Guillotines
- Press-brakes
- Metal cutting tools
- Saws and other fabrication machinery
- Follow good workshop practices and contribute to a safe working environment.
To be successful in the role of Welder/Fabricator, you will need:
- Strong MIG welding ability.
- Competent in reading and working from technical drawings.
- Good general workshop knowledge and practices.
- Experience in steel fabrication or engineering service/maintenance.
- TIG welding ability (advantage but not essential).
- Health & Safety awareness in an engineering workshop setting.
- Ability to work with steel and aluminium materials confidently.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
