We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Pershore.

Hours of work are: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday/ 7am-12pm Friday

Pay rate: 14 - 15 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Your duties as a Welder/Fabricator will include:

  • Manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium fabrications.
  • Perform MIG welding on structural and tubular steel assemblies.
  • Carry out fitting and assembly work where required
  • Work independently from engineering drawings.
  • Use workshop equipment such as:
    • Guillotines
    • Press-brakes
    • Metal cutting tools
    • Saws and other fabrication machinery
  • Follow good workshop practices and contribute to a safe working environment.

To be successful in the role of Welder/Fabricator, you will need:

  • Strong MIG welding ability.
  • Competent in reading and working from technical drawings.
  • Good general workshop knowledge and practices.
  • Experience in steel fabrication or engineering service/maintenance.
  • TIG welding ability (advantage but not essential).
  • Health & Safety awareness in an engineering workshop setting.
  • Ability to work with steel and aluminium materials confidently.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
