About:

The 21 Group are currently seeking an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join a busy office in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of a respected building services company.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Assisting with the financial oversight of the business, contributing to effective planning and management.
  • Preparing management accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.

  • Collaborating with the Financial Controller to build budgets, forecast income, and manage cashflow.

  • Keeping a forward-focused perspective on all financial activity.

  • Supporting annual audits and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting, VAT, CIS, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinating with external financial advisors as needed.

  • Supervising core finance functions, including payroll, credit control, invoicing, and supplier payments.


Essential/Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Strong background in management accounting with the ability to handle a varied workload.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach and keen attention to detail.

  • Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.

  • Confident communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.

  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and committed to meeting deadlines.
