Senior Drainage Consultant/Design Engineer

Location: Perth/Glasgow or Evesham (Hybrid Working Available)

Are you an experienced Drainage Consultant/Design engineer looking to join an expanding company with great progression opportunities and benefits?

On offer is the opportunity for an Drainage consultant/design engineer with great progression and training opportunities to join a leading company who are rapidly expanding in the UK.

The company is an environmental consultancy delivering expertise in ecology, hydrology, environmental engineering and ECoW services. In this role, you'll take the lead on projects involving Drainage Impact Assessments, Sustainable Drainage Strategies, detailed 3D design and hydraulic modelling.

The ideal candidate is someone confident in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage independently, while also providing mentorship and project management support to junior team members.

The Role:

  • Produce SuDS strategies, designs, modelling and reports.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with drainage and flood risk policy.
  • Undertake site visits and lead stakeholder engagement.
  • Support bids, proposals and tenders.

The Person:

  • Experience in drainage/surface water management.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental subject (or Similar)
  • Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD and InfoDrainage.
  • Strong knowledge of CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual and policy standards.
  • Full UK driving licence.
