Our client, a global engineering firm specialising in projects within the water sector, is expanding its delivery team in Perth. The Role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in site and project management within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety and Quality Assurance – Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times
  • Construction Coordination – Organise and supervise construction activities, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget
  • Site Operations – Oversee day-to-day site management, including team supervision, briefings, and adherence to HSE requirements
  • Resource Management – Manage the supply and procurement of materials and equipment
  • Technical Oversight – Verify construction drawings and material quantities
  • Client Liaison – Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
  • Regulatory Compliance – Adhere to the Customer Impact Plan and uphold company values and reputation
  • Project Planning and Monitoring – Plan and monitor work to ensure key milestones related to safety, time, and quality are met
  • Issue Resolution – Report and address site issues or non-conformances promptly
  • Cost Control – Monitor and manage site costs and maintain accurate records
  • General Duties – Undertake any additional tasks, training, or extended working hours as required
  • Confidentiality – Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on projects within the water sector is essential
  • Strong background in general civil engineering
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and liaison skills
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
