We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established environment in Perth. The role involves ensuring optimal performance of machinery and equipment, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Description

  • Perform routine maintenance on all machinery and equipment to reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults within machinery and systems.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans to maximise equipment availability.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support to the production team as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
  • Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:

  • HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices within an industrial / manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment safely.
