Description
- Perform routine maintenance on all machinery and equipment to reduce downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve faults within machinery and systems.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans to maximise equipment availability.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support to the production team as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:
- HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices within an industrial / manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment safely.
