You'll be joining a vibrant and supportive team within a day centre that supports adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. The role offers full training, making it ideal even if you have little or no previous experience. What you'll be doing:
* Supporting individuals with daily activities and personal goals
* Working both 1:1 with individuals with complex needs and facilitating group activities
* Getting involved in a wide range of fun and meaningful activities such as visual arts, gardening, life skills, cooking/baking, ICT, sensory sessions, hydrotherapy/rebound therapy, exercise, performance arts, and learning groups
* Bringing your own interests and hobbies to make each day more engaging for the people you support
* Providing personal care, assistance with meals, and administering medication as required
* Building genuine connections and promoting a positive, inclusive atmosphere
* Encouraging independence and meaningful engagement throughout the day
