Interim Management AccountantLocation:

Job Type:

6 month Fixed Term Contract, 5 days on site per week

The Management Accountant's role:

Play a key role in providing accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making for the Operations leadership team
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
Calculate, monitor, and report key site performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide support to management in decision-making by conducting financial analysis
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
Prepare daily and weekly wastage reports, analysing trends and working closely with the production team to identify root causes and drive improvement initiatives
Coordinate monthly stock takes, perform stock reconciliations, and investigate variances in collaboration with the operations team.
Review and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
Proven experience in management accounting roles
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the non-finance team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel

Knowledge and Skills:

Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in the FMCG industry
Previous experience with ERP systems
