The Management Accountant's role:
  • Play a key role in providing accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making for the Operations leadership team
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
  • Calculate, monitor, and report key site performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide support to management in decision-making by conducting financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
  • Prepare daily and weekly wastage reports, analysing trends and working closely with the production team to identify root causes and drive improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate monthly stock takes, perform stock reconciliations, and investigate variances in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Review and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in management accounting roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the non-finance team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in the FMCG industry
  • Previous experience with ERP systems
