Veracious Talent Partners are partnering with a respected not-for-profit organisation to appoint a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) to join their growing finance team in a newly created role. This appointment will provide critical day-to-day support to the Finance Director, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities as the organisation continues to expand.

In this newly created post, you'll be a key player in:

• Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts

• Leading on budgeting and forecasting cycles

• Supporting with year-end accounts, audit liaison, and compliance

• Driving improvements across finance systems, reporting, and processes

• Supporting the wider finance team and mentoring junior staff (potential future line management of apprentices)

• Working closely with internal stakeholders to enhance financial understanding and control

You'll report directly into the Finance Director and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial insight and driving continuous improvement across the function.

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

• Strong technical knowledge across financial and management reporting

• Proactive approach to process improvement and systems optimisation

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with both finance and non-finance colleagues
