Peterborough, commutable from the surrounding areas such as Boston, Leicester, Kings Lynn, Cambridge, Kettering, Grantham, Corby etc.

40,000-46,000 + Door to Door Pay (when travelling to UK sites) + Stay Away Allowance + Overtime + Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs + Travel Paid + Company Benefits + PLC Training Provided & Product Training Provided

Are you an Engineer with an Ex Forces background? Do you have experience in electrical maintenance engineering and working knowledge of PLCs?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone actively looking for progression, a new challenge and to join a company that will actively invest in your training and upskilling on PLCs to become an expert Commissioning Engineer.

The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be to travel to a variety of industrial sites within the UK and Overseas to perform installation and commissioning of production line machinery. The successful candidate will be provided regular support and training opportunities to get up speed with the company products and have training on PLCs.

The Role
*Commissioning/ Service Engineer
*Service, Installation and commissioning of production line machinery
*Working within an industrial environment, for example, manufacturing, foundry, industrial, oil & gas, steel works, etc.
*80% onsite (UK & Abroad) / 20% workshop

The Person
*Ex Forces Engineer/ Technician (REME, RAF, Royal Navy, Marine etc)
*Maintenance Engineer/ Service Engineer/ Commissioning Engineer/ Packaging Engineer/ Production Engineer/ Conveyor Engineer etc.
*Multi-skilled, electrically bias
*Basic PLC knowledge and experience
*Holding a Valid Passport
*Happy with stay away in the UK and Overseas (60% overseas)
