Field Service Engineer - Heavy Plant/Agricultural Machinery

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-notch machine diagnostics, servicing, and repairs for JCB Construction, Agricultural, Industrial, and Heavy Line Equipment.
  • Build and nurture strong, positive relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored service solutions.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the organisation and the brand, promoting aftermarket products and services.
  • Ensure quick, effective responses to customer needs, striving for a "First Time Fix."
  • Maintain and service equipment to manufacturer specifications, consistently aiming for excellence in customer service.
  • Embrace ongoing personal development through training courses to enhance your skills.
  • Conduct all work in alignment with health and safety policies, exceeding customer expectations while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in plant engineering, servicing, and maintenance.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, axles, transmissions, and heavy plant/agricultural machinery.
  • Strong technical diagnostics skills and proficiency with PDA technology.
  • Clean driving licence and a good driving record.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining flexibility to meet customer needs.
