We are seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join a growing engineering company based in Peterborough. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their design skills and gain hands-on industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Support senior engineers with design and development projects
- Create and update Bills of Materials (BoMs) and technical documentation
- Work with production teams to ensure designs are accurate and practical
- Contribute to new product development and continuous improvement activities
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)
- Degree, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
