Residential Property Case Handler – Hybrid | Peterborough Area

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing professional looking to join a modern, dynamic team that values work-life balance and career growth? We’re seeking a Residential Property Case Handler to support our Conveyancing Executives in delivering exceptional service across a variety of property transactions.

About the Role:In this client-facing role, you’ll assist with a busy caseload involving sales, purchases, re-mortgages and matrimonial transfers of equity. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients including private individuals, developers and investors.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct conflict checks, open/close files, verify ID and documents
  • Review source of funds documentation and identify additional requirements
  • Draft and issue contracts for sale transactions
  • Order and report on property searches
  • Report on mortgage offers and request redemption statements
  • Complete SDLT return forms and handle Land Registry requisitions
  • Respond to buyer’s Solicitor enquiries and liaise with clients
  • Prepare and send documents for signature
  • Manage post-exchange tasks including Land Registry searches and completion setup
  • Produce invoices and completion statements
  • Maintain regular communication with Clients, Estate Agents and Solicitors
  • Ensure compliance with CQS Accreditation and AML Regulations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Comfortable working within targets, budgets and billing frameworks
